To whom this may concern,
We have used Great Lakes Concrete Restoration on several projects. The first was to repair some extremely rough concrete. Their system repaired this well enough that the concrete did not need to be replaced. We then used the polish system to restore a concrete floor that had epoxy. This became our finished floor for West Branch Napa, Auto Truck and trailer. We then used the system for our office area finished floor in a LEED certified warehouse located in St. Ignace. Lastly, in the summer of 2011, a house was constructed in which we used the polished concrete system for the finished floor.
In each of these applications, the finish is both attractive and extremely durable. The cost is comparable to an epoxy application- but after several years, we see zero wear. The floor stays shiny and smooth, unlike other finishes. And, even though it is shiny, it is not slippery!
I would recommend a polished concrete floor to anyone over any coating system. Our experience has stood the test of time, and we will absolutely continue to utilize Great Lakes for future projects. Please feel free to check their work at West Branch Napa, or email me for further reference.
